While writing, you may want to use a piece of outside information in your blog. I of course can't claim these thoughts to be my own in good conscience. So I will cite these sources in my blog by citing them, I can do this in a number of ways. Ideally I would like you to link your source within your text. For instance, If I claimed that Woodrow Wilson believed that,"Living political constitutions must be Darwinian in structure and in practice." I would need to cite my source on that statement. I would do so like this:
"Living political constitutions must be Darwinian in structure and in practice." 1
(At the bottom of the page)
1. "Woodrow Wilson Asks." The Heritage Foundation. N.p., n.d. Web. 01 Sept. 2014.
I WOULD RATHER cite my source in this manner:
"Living political constitutions must be Darwinian in structure and in practice." 1
2
If you click the small one above you will find that I hyper-linked to the website that I got this quote from. Therefore, you can either cite sources by using a footnote and a MLA format citation, OR you can simply hyper-link the website to the sub-scripted citation number.
